TRAVEL with MARIE

Let’s say - seven weeks completely paralysed in ICU wasn’t on my bucket list. Nor were the months of rehab to learn to walk again. Guillain-Barré Syndrome changed me forever.

I’d always loved travel. But like most people, there were still places I thought I’d get to… eventually. My illness made one thing very clear: eventually isn’t guaranteed.

So once I was back on my feet, I stopped putting things off…
and started making more of now. Italy (six times — no regrets),
France, Greece, Asia, the USA…

But here’s the thing — not everyone wants to do it alone. And they shouldn’t have to.

Because travel is better when it’s shared. When the pace feels right.
When someone else has the details covered. When there’s laughter over dinner and someone to say, “how good is this?”

That’s where I come in.

After formally studying travel (Certificate III), I design and host small group journeys that are relaxed, social, and just active enough to be energising — never exhausting.

Health is precious. Money can come back. But time doesn’t wait.

Maybe your time is now.

Marie (like calamari — yes, really)
